Submarkets

While Old Town is one of the most well-known areas in the city, Alexandria has a total of eight submarkets that each offer a unique business environment and products suitable to many different needs. These range from small commercial townhouses and spaces in Old Town and Del Ray, to Class A opportunities in Braddock, Carlyle, Eisenhower Valley, Potomac Yard, and the West End. The affordable lease rates combined with Alexandria's corporate tax rates make the city an ideal place to conduct business, whether in commercial office or retail space.
