Small Business Development Center
The Alexandria Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a community resource that provides counseling, training, and information in all aspects of small business management. The Alexandria SBDC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization hosted by AEDP and funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the City of Alexandria, and the regional banking community.
The Alexandria SBDC can help you start, manage, and grow your business. Each month, several free educational programs are offered on a variety of topics related to small business, from marketing and branding to federal contracting. Visit SBDC’s event page for more information on upcoming events.
In addition, the SBDC provides one-on-one counseling for small businesses based in Alexandria. The SBDC is partnered with the Washington, D.C., SCORE – Service Corps of Retired Executives to provide clients with free advice and mentoring on all of their business needs.
